Which restaurants do I choose if I want to splash out?
Hmm... not necessarily expensive, but my absolute favourite is Fermin on the Zwaanshals, where you only eat local, fermented food. Okay, okay, yet another favourite is (Gare du) Nord, where you eat whatever’s on the vegan menu for that day – in an old train carriage. Pour Francais, I would recommend Cafe Marseille, the perfect spot from croissant to bouillabaisse, located in a cool, typically Rotterdam street in West. À bientot!
