My absolute number 1 spot is The Performance Bar in a side street of the Witte de With; a fantastic concept where 80-90 people exchange their comfort zone for a hysterical, mould-breaking, non-conforming creative bubble. The only thing the performances have in common is that they take place on the bar in the middle of the venue, but that’s about it. Modern dance, beautiful singing, body paint, or the Pas de Pantalon event concept; every evening is unique and totally unexpected. If you want to start that flow of inspiration in a more tranquil way, you can visit the best museum in Rotterdam for the umpteenth time – the Boijmans – where the permanent collections and exhibitions never cease to surprise; from giant turds to classical art all in one museum. Awesome!
