With the Pride March Proud Together on 25 September, we want to lovingly show that we dream of an inclusive city in which everyone feels welcome and at home. There are two interesting exhibitions with the theme of Pride Rotterdam. The Deep in Vogue exhibition at the Kunsthal is about Ballroom, black homosexuals in the 1970s who had their own scene and dance movement in Harlem, New York. And at the Wereldmuseum, the What a genderful world exhibition is about how different cultures view men and women, beauty ideals and the third sex. Fascinating.
