Question 3 of 3
Ariane
Where can I see the city as I have never seen it before?
If you enter the city via the Maasboulevard, you will be able to enjoy one of its most impressive perspectives. You will see the characteristic skyline of Rotterdam, including not only the Erasmus Bridge and the old Hefbrug, but also the old harbour area. You would expect a large river like the Maas to sweep through the landscape in a straight line, but in fact it meanders through Rotterdam, and such a meandering river is sure to yield remarkable perspectives on the city. For example, near De Maaskantine is a quiet area where you can also take lovely walks. Ships pass by as you lie on the beach there, holding a delicious Rotterdam-brewed beer. Being there always gives me a real holiday feeling in my own city.
