Het Oude Noorden – I like this district because it’s one of the few that still has a lot of the old, but also a lot of investment and renovation going on, such as in and around the Zwaanshals. I take my visitors to the Pijnackerplein; a super cool square where children can play in the bandstand, between the unique houses of Noord. My daughter always puts on a show for us there, so much fun! For a cultural trip, you should walk through the Zwart Janstraat, where many nationalities eat, walk and shop side by side. Lovely!
