Then you have to go to Bakeliet, the pub is located on a corner that has the sun for hours. The terrace runs from the Binnenweg to the Heemraadssingel. On the Binnenweg side, you experience the bustle of the city, including those revving up their engines and showing off their cars, but that’s part of the city too. Around the corner, you’ll find tranquillity; the swans, a dog walking past or a couple enjoying a romantic stroll. While you sip on a Moscow mule or a craft beer.

Another of my favourite places is the Alohabar. A former tropical swimming pool converted into a no-waste bar and restaurant overlooking the water and the Willemsbrug. And at Parqiet in Het Park near the Euromast, you can watch the entire city pass by from your beach chair with a mimosa.
